Should I take February LSAT? Do I disclose this on my applications?

GPA: 3.87 October LSAT: 166 Work experience: 2 years in government/advocacy jobs. Great resume.

I am trying to decide whether or not to take the February LSAT. In my practice tests, I was clearing 170 pretty easily, and I got very nervous on the day of the test. I would like to go to UW since I would get in-state tuition, but I would love to attend somewhere better if possible.

Filling out the Duke application, they stated that if I indicated I was taking the February LSAT, they would "put a hold on my file so that it would not be evaluated until the new score is recieved."

Also, I have reported to other schools that I am planning to take the February LSAT, but saw no other indications of a "hold" for doing so. Is this true and they simply did not tell me?

WHAT DO I DO, REDDIT?!

Edit: Adjusted GPA from 3.84 to 3.87 since that's how LSAC calculates it.

You are all wonderful human beings for taking the time to comment!

I think I am going retake the LSAT in February, because I really do think I could improve. However, I don't want to wait until next cycle. It would be great to get into a top tier school, and I feel like I am doing a blanket approach. However, I am also content with a Northwest Regional School like UW. Even if I go there, a better score should help with aid applications.

I've been a Reddit lurker for years. This thread has been super helpful throughout this process and I appreciate all of you for your free advice!
