Alternative to the Doterra diffuser?

My wife has a snazzy top of the line doterra diffuser, it works great and provides a lovely cool mist. Now my mom and sis want them for Christmas, but they are REALLY expensive. Does anybody know any as-good, non-name-brand alternatives that are cheaper?
