Would Sandstone be good for dice?

So I was perusing the internet yesterday and happened across a beautiful Companion Cube die that comes in Sandstone.

It is 3d printed, I was just wondering if it would work well as a die or if I should get plastic.

Obviously I know nothing about sandstone, so I just want to be certain it won't be brittle or break after heavy use.
