Sense Herakles Plus Paint

I want to start off by saying this atomizer is easily the best atty I've owned. I have the black version on an black eVic VTC Mini and LOVE how it looks. My only problem is, when I was cleaning it to put in a new juice, the black paint on the inside of the atty where the coil sits (where there's threading), chipped pretty much immediately. Not too happy about that. Is there anyway I can clean this thing without that happening? I was using paper towels which probably wasn't the best idea.
