Massdrop question about purchases

I "joined" the drop for the antlion modmic a few days ago and I was wondering how this whole thing works as of now since the FAQ page on massdrop isn't really answering my question. When I go to my transactions page I see the product that I ordered and it says Payment Status: Pending. I was wondering how this system worked and how much longer it is going to last as I am assuming that my product hasn't been shipped yet and I would like it in before Christmas.
