Why I don't like most TV shows.

[Guy falls down]
Guy: Go on without me!
Girl: No, I won't leave you!
Me: Oh god not this again.
[10 seconds of staring dramatically into the camera]
[orchestral music plays sadly in the background]
Guy: It's the only way! I'll only slow you down!
[Girl starts crying]
[Music gets louder]
Me: Please no.
Girl: I've always loved you! From the moment I first saw you I knew you were the one.
Me: Can we get back to the part where you're being chased by a shapeshifting demon?
[3 seconds of wordless facial expressions and crying]
[Still playing sad music]
Guy: Listen, I've always believed in you. You're strong, you can get through this on your own.
[Girl cries more]
[Camera zooms in on her face for like ten minutes while she cries]
[Music still going]
Me: I really don't care about any of this.
[Girl very slowly starts walking away]
[Closeup of the guy's face]
[Guy gets eaten in slow motion while the music gets even more obnoxious]
[Girl turns around and stares at him in slow motion]
Me: Should I just fast forward at this point?
