What is the correct way to take my shirt off?

  • I used to be fat, and now I am not fat

  • One benefit of not being fat, is having the reasonable option of wearing clothes that fit me. But I am finding that I am ripping the shoulder/sleeve area of any shirt that fits me when taking it off.

  • I had always been fat since the age at which I was taking off clothes by myself, so I've come to realize that maybe I never learned the correct way to take off a shirt.

  • Currently (not fat), I am constantly ripping my polo and t-shirts around the shoulders when taking them off

  • How I currently take off a shirt (the kinds without a full row of buttons)

  1. Undo any buttons that are present (in the case of polo shirts)

  2. Use right hand to tug at the lower left sleeve of shirt, while pulling it over my right elbow then continuing to slide the left arm backwards through the left sleeve

  3. Slide left arm under the shirt, and lift it over my head

  4. Repeat same process with the right side of the shirt

(It is always the left sleeve area that is getting ripped)
