LOOKUP ERROR

Using a lookup formula to find associated data in different sheets works perfect except when I use my name as reference. Anybody else's name works just fine returning the appropriate rank for the name. I am lost. please help

Edit: after several hours yelling at my computer, I changed the formula to Lookup(B3,Data!A$1,Data!B$1) and it now works for my name. And continues to work for everyone else's.
