Any recommendations for media asset management software?

Howdy folks,

Our production house is looking into getting some media asset management software. Our problem is basically that right now we don't have a tool to look back and get information on old projects. It would be great if we could search a database to find "every project for client X" or "every project shot by this DP" etc. We've been getting by with an excel doc that the producers update, but it's really not ideal. We don't actually need the system to store the project files themselves, just a reference thumbnail or maybe a compressed version of the deliverable.

Any recommendations? Right now we are looking at Filemaker Pro.

Thanks!
