Game crashes when I use an controller

If I play like 5m with a controller the screen turns white and the mouse point stays reloading and I'm forced to close the game because it doesn't come back to it. Anybody else having this problem ? Also, the controller commands are limited and sometimes you need to click with the mouse to choose something.
