Potential gold sink?

There are clearly measures being taken to combat inflation, such as taxes and nerfed alchemy. What if an infinite amount of bonds were purchasable in the GE for gold, but never for real money. (No one gets the gold when one is bought)

When bought, the gold is just removed from circulation. I can't say what the price would be or anything, but I think this would both keep in the rhythm of building from scratch and the inability to pay to win, while helping control inflation.
