Vitaros cream thoughts
So disclaimer this is more part of my research on a stock APRI rather than for any clinical reason.
This product Vitaros appears to be a competitor for Caverject and muse for as it's a local ED cream but it's not injected or inserted. In my time as a tech and retail pharmacist we dispensed both but only a handful of time but each time I'd cringe and the thought of someone using it. And have to think using a urethral suppository or penial injection is a major deterrent for those who couldn't take a PDE-5.
Vitaros however is a cream applied to the urethra and not inserted. From my perspective this seems like it can really hit a market need. I have however been out of retail and in industry (not them) for 4 years so I wanted to see if others also saw this as a product they would recommend. It's approved in several European countries and hoped to be FDA approved in the next year.
