Is there any way to extract enemy models from the game?

The only things I've seen on this are from right around after launch, so I'm wondering if there's anything new on this topic. I'm just curious to look at them in closer detail (and maybe 3d print some, someday. Not to sell, just for myself). I know we've got weapon and armour models from bungie.net, but I'm wondering more specifically about the models for the enemy races themselves. I figure they should be stored client-side, right? So theoretically, it should be doable, but in practise, I'm not sure. I also have no idea how one would go about doing that, so that doesn't help much. Anyway, thanks in advance, even if the answer is just a "no".
