In a predicament with a guest for my upcoming wedding....

Help!

Hi all,

I am hoping you can help me. I have worked at the same place for a decade and a few of my coworkers have also been there that long. There are about 10 that I planned on inviting to my wedding in January. One is my supervisor, (I'll call him "Nate") who I had a strained relationship with in the first 5 years or so that we worked together . I have given Save the Dates to all of these people including Nate.

A few weeks ago, Nate apparently was having a bad day and decided to take it out on me. He pushed a few buttons with me and we had a huge blowout. He ended up calling me a lot of things, including saying I am whiny, pathetic and ignorant, among other more personal things I won't get into.

We both apologized at the end of it but things have not been the same since. We barely speak and it is very forced and uncomfortable. I am unsure what to do as my invites are going out in the next week or so. Do I just be the bigger person and give it to him as planned? Let him decide if he wants to attend? I mean the thing is, if he meant those things he said to me, I'm not sure I want him there. I would hate to regret not inviting him in a few years though, when this has blown over. What would be the most polite way to uninvite someone if I did go that route?

Help! Advice needed.... What horrible timing for this all to happen...
