DUI Accident - what will likely happen?

A friend of mine had an accident, not with another vehicle but crashed in to a pole and blew .202. no other priors, good record. what's likely to happen? I think they have a drinking problem and will go to meetings etc to show his reaction and to show he's trying to correct himself.
