To facewash or beardwash?

First off, this is my first time growing a beard, and I'm about a year in but trimmed a few times. For the past year, I have only been washing my face/beard with a "fancy" facewash I use as it's the only thing that I like and doesn't make me break out. I am wanting to start using an actual beard wash/shampoo but I don't know how I would use both the facewash and the beard shampoo. Would I facewash first, then shampoo, or vice-versa? Or just use the facewash and the non-bearded parts of my face?
