Question about Rooting (Tmobile)

I'm thinking of rooting my LG G4, Tmobile variant. Will Wifi calling still work on it if I root and put TWRP on it? My reception at home is terrible, so I rely on Wifi. I'm probably going to follow XDA's youtube video on doing it, but I can't find a concrete answer for this question. Thanks for your time.
