Wanting to convert my ventless gas fireplace to vented/chimney woodburning

Bought my house 5 years ago, and the builders installed a nice ventless gas fireplace in the corner of the living room. It works fine, really heats up the room quickly, but is fairly expensive to keep going, as gas prices skyrocket in the winter time. I was wondering how easy it would be to convert it to a woodburning fireplace. Is it as easy as just basically installing a stovepipe and removing the ceramic logs?
