Trick for Taking Salt Tablets

I take four Thermotab salt tablets a day to help manage my POTS. They are the smallest brand I could find, but still pretty big. I used to struggle to get them down.

One trick I learned is to buy the applesauce pouches to-go (the kind that have a twist-off top for lunches), and take the tablets with that instead of water. The water made the salt stick to my tongue, start to break down and get filmy, or when I'd swallow, the pill would scratch my throat on the way down. With the applesauce it sort of coats the pill nicely when taken together and slides right down, no dissolving or scratching.

Pudding works as well, but the applesauce has worked best for me. I just thought I'd share what I've learned over the years. I hope it helps make someone's day easier. :)
