HTC One m8 Failure Common

Hi, this is my first post on this sub and I'm here to ask a question. Are failures with the HTC One m8 common? I'm on my 4th m8 and it just broke. MY FOURTH. For reference I've used the m8 since April. In not even 1 year I've went through 4 phones. Are failures common. Thanks
