arachne theorycrafting and practical application questions

DISCUSSION

I've been playing a lot of arachne lately, and before anyone brings up old arachne, i know she was better, but that was before i started playing and despite the changes they made i enjoy playing her often.

i've been trying to settle on a build that is fun for me to play and what i do know so far is that i prefer building into movement speed, attack speed, and defense either in the active sense via lifesteal or passive offensive sense with mystical mail and/or hide of the nemean lion.

building into crit is not fun for me beyond the inclusion of rage.

i like the idea of an arachne that has a lot of sustain from lifesteal/attack speed ( maintaining a constant 2 or more attack speed ), punishes players that get too close or that hit her with basic attacks, has high movement and can continue chasing via hastened fatalis, and that can spread damage across clustered targets via golden bow or odyseus' bow, and has great movement speed.

some combinations i've tried that seem to tick the boxes i'm aiming for:

  • ninja boots, hastened fatalis, rage, soul eater, odyseus bow or golden bow, and mystical mail

  • ninja boots, hastened fatalis, rage, soul eater, golden bow, odyseus bow

  • ninja boots, hastened fatalis, rage, soul eater, mystical mail, hide of the namean lion

from my experiences, she's a ridiculous force to be reckoned with when she has all items building lifesteal, attack speed, passive offense. it enables her to box any physical god into the ground, and even multiple physical gods ( 1 v 2'ed a bellona and baccus at the same time and was winning ). with the attackspeed i'm often able to use the 2 skill to almost immediately interrupt ulting gods that would do massive damage to me or my teamates, such as fenrirs brutalize or ares following up with flames after his chains. where it falls short is getting hit by any hard magic, which makes me want to swap one of the armors for stone of gaia or another magic protection item that has a passive condusive to the builds intent.

is there a better way to build what i'm looking for or better purchase order? is this build not really viable because of her attack speed steroid. in my mind the steroid is nice, but maintaining a high attack speed even when it'a on cooldown is what makes the lifesteal a viable active defense. is this logic just outright wrong or am could i go about it a more streamlined way?
