ESPN's World Armwrestling League hits O'Fallon this Sat., Dec. 5, for Missouri state championship!

This kind of awesome outlandishness is what makes pro puling so compelling, and now, pro arm-wrestlers from ESPN's World Armwrestling League are set to descend on O'Fallon this Saturday, Dec. 5, as the league's 50 State Championship Series hits the Show-Me State to crown the best male and female pullers in all of Missouri!

Scores of elite-level "pullers" (yes, they exist) will converge at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Brewskees West Sports Bar, 4251 Keaton Crossing Blvd., O'Fallon, for the Missouri championships, which are open to amateur and experienced me and women across multiple weight classes. More than 9 million viewers tuned in to ESPN this summer to watch the World Armwrestling League take pulling mainstream, and the best battled for more than $500,000 in the WAL's 2015 campaign.

The winner of Saturday's tourney earns an automatic bye into the regional qualifying stage of the WAL's 2016 season, along with TV time on ESPN and their own shot at thousands in prize money.

Saturday's event is being organized by "The Machine" Steven Green, a WAL heavyweight and accountant by day.
