So I'd like to get to know Vivec.

As the title suggests, I would really like to try and understand Vivec as a character and why the hell he's so important. I understand he's very complex in who he is, but all I can gather from what I've read, and what it really comes down to, is that he's a magical hermaphroditic badass God-King Warrior-Poet who's seen some serious shit and is some serious shit. So, if possible, can someone give me a little crash course on Vivec and what I need to know about him and his sermons, as well as how I can research him to fullest? Thanks in advance!
