Looking for a good, quick manga that seems like a typical 'wtf' manga which matures within 58 chapters beyond your wildest expectations? Aku No Hana is the answer.

Picked it up on a whim, since I saw some post mention it in the same sentence as Tatami Galaxy, and read the manga instead of watching the anime since someone else mentioned that the manga had ended while the anime was tentatively waiting for a second season. Also because Baudelaire is a personal favorite, but considering it was a manga I wasn't expecting too much (yes, elitism, fight me). To quote the cliche "never happier to have been proven wrong". Interesting characters, a unique and surprisingly mature take on a story that starts with the oldest school anime/manga cliche, well drawn art and overall an intense experience. Here's my complete review in case anyone's interested.

As the review says, I don't usually review much these days, and this is the first time I'm suggesting something on this subreddit. Hope there are some who will enjoy this manga. Cheers!
