Stream Delay is longer in chrome, is there a fix?

I've noticed that; at least on my computer, Twitch has a delay of about 5 seconds longer in google chrome than it does in other browsers. Opera feels like it doesn't even have any delay.

My connection while viewing streams is good and I rarely see any stops or buffering except when I first enter a stream.

This isn't a world ending thing but I was just looking for any tips on how to get Chrome in line with other browsers. I've done the obvious of disabling browser addons.

Is this possible at all? If I have to just view it in Opera I've got no issue with that but if Twitch has extra delay in chrome maybe chrome is causing some slight delay with other things as well.
