Why are you so hard fallout!

Fallout I find is always a pain in the ass to get into, the new system of working on weapons and armour is so weird. After rage quitting from frustration and not knowing what to do combined with some truly shitty how to play guides I had read online. I have spend 3 hours on the basics, i am also trying to get out of my habit of picking up weapons and focusing on collecting random junk. So now I will say well done to the fallout team for creating a great game which i can see myself playing for a long time after having to figure out what the hell to do. Things I have found out.

1. collect one of each type of weapon and upgrade to max
2. don't hide in the power armour like I did then panic when it runs out of power
3. explore first build town later
4. dog = great storage
