bootcamp and windows iso file

I've heard that you can directly install using the windows iso on newer macs using bootcamp 6. I've got a macbook pro 15 (mid-2014) model but still require to use a usb for installation. (Having issues with bootcamp installing windows 10 but that's a whole other issue). Anyone know what's up? Can this model directly install using the iso file?
