My own thoughts on the server

Now after reading the other two people's opinions on the server, I feel like as someone who is still quite a newfriend, I have some knowledge on what it was like when I first joined.

The Beginning
Now, I was spawned into the middle of nowhere. To some players this might be disorientating, but I kinda had an idea of what I was doing (as I read on Reddit). However, I have to admit it was still difficult, and I agree with the idea to have some form of linking the player to the tutorials
The Community
In record time, exactly 2 minutes after I made a post on Reddit asking for help, Pineapple4dayz responded and offered his help. This of course, already made the community seem quite positive in my eyes, reinforced by the helpfulness and friendliness of people like Poulet, Sabriel, Mr_Palmer, Tass and all those other people I forget to mention. I'd say a solid 8/10 community compared to other servers I've been on.
Difficulty
I have to be honest here. To me, the server would have been a lot more difficult, if people hadn't helped me from the beginning. However, to a degree I like the difficulty. Obviously for crops, I don't, but for something like tree growth, I think fits nicely in the game. Now before you all rage at me abut dishonoring your custom trees, let me explain. I think that, like in real life, when chopping down a tree on this server, you have to think. It's not easy to get one back, and it's certainly impossible to make it a custom tree again. These kinds of things that provoke player thought, and to an extent is semi-conscious roleplay, is really neat. For example, just travelling around the map by horse or by boat, makes me think a lot. Which route is faster?, Which route is safer?

So basically what I'm saying, is I think this is an awesome server, with an awesome community.
