the system runs all lights and fans from the mobo, fans and gpu. the mobo speaker gives several beeps about one second per beep and the system goes into a loop of turning itself off and on every ten seconds with nothing on the display.

List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.

i checked all connections to and from the psu and found no issue. i also breadboxed the system to check ram in all possible configs and without ram at all. i attempted reseating the gpu and removing it entirely. i double checked all four standoffs for clearance to ensure there was no shorting. i tried a different psu from my personal system. all of this didnt change anything, after i press power the system runs lights and fans with continuous beeping in a power on power off cycle.

Am i right in assuming this is a defective mobo? i have checked gigabytes ram compatibility chart and while they do not list my specific brand of ram, could that be the issue? i will order a new mobo and ram tomorrow unless anyone has a better idea.
