My 2004 Acura TL's transmission is on its way out at 130,000 miles. What can I expect to get out of it?

It is shuddering in 3rd gear, and I was told by the transmission shop that its a common problem with 3rd gen Acura TL's. Apparently it is just a poor design/bad quality parts for the transmission. I think that's pretty pathetic seeing as I had a 1999 Ford F-150 that ran with the original transmission until 213,000 miles. The whole reason I bought this car was because it was supposed to last me until I at least graduated college if not longer. I invested all of my money I earned from my initial entry training for the Army into it, so I just took a fairly big loss on that. Sorry for the rant.. its just a little disappointing.

On to the my actual question now. How much can I realistically expect to sell it for? The car is in pristine condition. No scratches on the paint, no tears in the leather, clean inside and out.. I really took care of this car. I know the KBB value is around $4600 for a 2004 TL in fair condition (only in fair condition due to the transmission problems). Do you guys have any recommendations on what to sell it for?

Thanks for all the help/advice ahead of time guys.
