Just purchased the 6P. Questions about unlocking bootloader/rooting.

I picked up the Nexus 6P on Monday and so far am LOVING it. It's an upgrade from my S3 in almost every way (the notification LED isn't as bright, and the vibration motor is weak). The battery life is my favourite feature; 5 hr 15 min with 35% left yesterday, and 3 hr 30 min with 50% left today! My sister opted for the Note 5, and while I am slightly jealous, I think the 6P is better overall.

I have root + xposed on my S3, but am slightly confused on how to do that on a Nexus since this is my first one. Are there any step by step guides on how to root the phone?
