[TOMT][Song] Song by a possibly Irish guy with a guitar. May have been released in the 80's.

I remember the story told, a young guy is on his way home from somewhere and comes across a gate. An old man warms him to go another way, obviously the young guy ignores him. In the forest a woman comes up to him and kisses him. Suddenly she is a young girl and he is an old man. She's stole his life basically. He then has to wait for the next young idiot to come and cut through the forest so he can be released.

It was released on a vinyl, and the guy on the cover has a guitar, a wooly jumper, and maybe a beard. Possibly 80's.
