Pete 379 crash

Welp... I posted some photos of our 92 379 a while ago after we'd done some work to her, last night a GMC ran a red light in front of me. He who has more lug nuts prevailed here!

TL;DR: Everyone is ok, but we had a hell of an impact and one hell of an evening

I curved left a little before impact and tagged his front left quarter panel and tire (which left swirl marks on the bumper). If I had stayed straight, it would have nailed his door and been much worse.

40-45 mph, wet/rainy, slight downhill, empty conex box.... Not much to do but hold on tight. The rear of his bed came up and tagged my sleeper about 6 feet off the ground, he also scraped the headache rack about 7 feet off the ground. Last thing I saw in the pass mirror was them hop, skip and jump right over the guard rail with barely touching it! The embankment was pretty steep, the other side of that cement is about a 12 foot drop to the creek.

I ran over and jumped on top the truck and could hear a kid screaming once I got the door open, a 2-3 year old child may have not been seat belted in and she had fallen down by the driver foot board, near the pedals. The female passenger had bad wrist pain, she was second to come out. Male driver had severe chest pain, most likely from impacting the steering wheel since the air bag didn't deploy.

East bound lane had a red light since my (westbound) lane had just finished a southbound turn green light, so many parties witnessed it and came to help immediately. The family was transported but was ok, police reports were filed, ODOT had their fun, wrecker crew had a good time.

The hood, bumper, sleeper, and toolbox are hammered. Exhaust got tagged a bit. Radiator was popped as well, but it appears the intercooler survived. Frame and frame horn look good, suspension appeared to be fine.
