[Spoiler] Question about a line in last night's crossover?

In last night's episode, when Barry was reassuring Kendra, he said something along the lines of "Kendra, last year, I lost my powers. The only way I could get them back is if I just forgot about everything happening around me and focused on who I was."

Is Barry talking about when Zoom broke his legs? If so, does that mean that the last two episodes took place a year ago? Or am I forgetting an episode in season 1 where Barry lost his powers?
