Dominion Tip O' the Day!

Howdy Dominion fans! I'm trying a personal challenge to impart Dominion experience and wisdom in 140 characters or less everyday. Here's what I've got so far:

LoL Dominion Tip of the Day #1: Did you know that you can use Lee Sin's W on friendly captured towers?

LoL Dominion Tip of the Day #2: Health boost pick-ups dotted around the map respawn every 33 seconds, use positional rhythm.

LoL Dominion Tip of the Day #3: The walls between the lanes and mid often have edges you ca position into. These break enemy line of sight.

LoL Dominion tip o' day #4: Recalling takes 4 seconds, and running from platform takes 3-4. Recall frequently; your K/D ratio should improve.

LoL Dom' Tip, Day 5: Practice patience and avoid fighting when outnumbered. Games can range from 5-20 minutes. 20 seconds to spare is eh.

LoL Dom' Tip O' Day 6: No hard rules for champion selection, just try to make sure you take a balance between Tanky & Squish, AP & AD.

LoL Dom' tip o' day 7: Dominating? Good! Just make sure to end the game after the 7 minute mark, otherwise Riot doesn't grant you IP or EXP.

LoL Dom' Tip o' Day 8: Prevent Evelynn, Shaco and Rammus "Back-cappers" by spending time around the top left or right speed shrines.

LoL Dom Tip 9: Try to take rank and borders with a pinch of salt. It may be an indication of Rift skill, it does not show true Scar play exp.

LoL Dom' Tip o' day 10: When buying items at first start, avoid using your abilities as doing this prevents you from using the Undo!

LDTOD 11: Submitted by redditor Teamshinanagin - Avoid capturing towers or on top of allies, as most skillshots will interrupt both of you.

LDTOD 12 - Redditor Shup: Try recalling while on the speed-shrines, so you can run extra quick-like back to the battle!

LDTOD 13: Redditor Beholdthevoid: If using Tear, remember to pre-load it by spamming spells before the match starts! You can 1/7th charge it.

LDTOD 14: Advancing on a tower as two? Sometimes it can be better for one advance on the enemy and zone/body-block shots as the other caps.

LDTOD 15: If their team is ahead, using one person to camp mid to prevent them securing the storm shrine, can be a good idea.

LDTOD 16: Dominion is a balancing act. It is much more ideal to hold and support 3 towers. Avoid over-extension.

LDTOD 17, Redditor rgoods: Conversely, holding only 2 towers and positioning well is preferable to making risky plays and silly pushes.

LDTOD 18: Redditor SylianEUW: Storm shield is good for everyone, but great for others. Let champions with long range or many traps get it.

LDTOD 19: Redditor zappotheclown: Win early bot' lane? Timers between 5-8 seconds? Push hard, they may burn a revive or leave you a tower.

LDTOD 19: Redditor BeholdtheVoid: Don't underestimate the power of the jungle. Controlling this area is key as it applies more pressure.

LDTOD 20: Flash, then Exhaust, / Heal for most summoner spell value. Ghost and Ignite are also situationally optional.

LDTOD 21: Be wary of stealth champions and locations. Close proximity to the storm shrine and towers will reveal you.

LDTOD 22: Try listening to not loud, lyric-less music that you enjoy while gaming. Science says you are more relaxed and concentrate better.

LDTOD 23: LoL Dominion is designed as a close, come-back viable game. Try to focus, keep heart and avoid tilting. Victory with 1 point!

LDTOD 24: Useful pings and clear chat messages are a great tool to relay information. These also tend to be more effective with friends.

LDTOD 25: No vision? No problem. Use skill-shots and vision granting abilities and items first. If not, wait for your team to follow. Safe.

LDTOD 26: Bloodthirsty? The very powerful nexus lazers only start to hit just before the third step, go chase. Be wary of knock-backs.

LDTOD 27: Being chased? Head into the jungle in the direction of your team. Peek at your minimap. A dramatic juke in a different direction and a dive / flash can help!

LDTOD 28: The Soul Anchor Revive trinket is a very valuable resource. It gains charges at level 1, 9 and 14, but only holds 2 charges. Use them wisely.

LDTOD 29: Less than 5 minutes left in the match? Consider buying an Elixir consumable rather than an item part, it may have more impact.

LDTOD 30: LoL is a competitve E-sport, so it's in your best interest to maximize your FPS and minimize your internet latency (ping). Use guides!

LDTOD 31: Hit tab frequently and study your opponents K/D/A ratios, carries and item builds. Adjust your own item path accordingly for best results.

LDTOD 32: Don't stream? No problem, but DO consider using software to record some of your games. Re-watch them. Hindsight is powerful.

LDTOD 33: New to the game? Transferring servers? LoL allows you to queue for normal PvP dominion at Summoner level 7.

LDTOD 34: Pubstoming with your premade, organised team? Don't be so sure as it makes you more likely to face other premade teams.

LDTOD 35: Outnumber the opponent around a tower? Weave capturing the point between attacks to prevent tower damage. It's ~0.5secs to channel.

LDTOD 36: Be wary of mana-regen items in dominion. Ability resource regeneration is artificially high in the game-type. Consider your gold.

LDTOD 37: Smooth consistent play depends on flow. It depends on expectations, predictions, micro-management, reaction-times and actions-per-second.

LDTOD 38: Don't get mad if you can help it. Turn of /all, mute flamers. Stay cool, stay frosty. Revenge is best served cold. Shutdown gold!

LDTOD 39: Practice good gamer health. Loosen and warm-up your hands and wrists for a long session. Take breaks every couple of hours.

LDTOD 40: Avoid announcing that you're streaming in the game chat. It's a great way to get sniped by unkind strangers. They kappa. (True story)

LDTOD 41: Credit to SylianEUW: mathematically, scaling runes are more efficient and effective longer throughout the match. See reddit!

LDTOD 42: The towers can bug. If you somehow get knocked inside one, or if you're somehow really too close; you may be unable to capture.

LDTOD 43: Difficulty engage a poke-comp team? Draw individual champions out by back-capping mid. Co-ordinate your team's flashes and ultimates.

LDTOD 44: It may be worth your time experiencing and testing other MOBA's other than league. That experimental play may have influence on some of your LoL plays.

LDTOD 45: Be careful when picking champions that depends on minion kills for stacks such as Veigar and Nasus. Not too many minions to go around and they're dangerous bot picks.

LDTOD 46: If you are tired or tilted, avoid picking champions that have a high skill level or many technical mechanics. You only have to do what is needed, not more.

LDTOD 47: Try not to compare yourself to other players without critical thinking and mindfulness. There are just so many other factors to e-sport performance than time spent playing.

LDTOD 48: Blind pick solo-queue team insta-locking all AD / AP, but you want to pick one too? If you do, try including some True-damage abilities, or buying %health damage items. Any suggestions or tips you'd like to see shared in daily bite-sized pieces?
