/r/guildwars2 veterans: how has this subreddit changed since HoT?

[Question]

I have been a frequent forum poster since launch and didnt use reddit until last week. I dont want this to become another rant about something, so i try to keep it constructive and not insulting. I really enjoyed posting on the official subforums, to give my feedback to devs, to have discussions with other players and help them out. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the forums deteriorated quite a bit since HoT launched. It wasnt as much fun for me to post there anymore because complaints and rants about things players didnt like were overwhelming the forums. I didnt have any good discussions over there since HoT and it also felt like players were more interested in ranting than getting quality feedback. This post isnt about the issues the game currently has, so i dont want to talk about that but about the forums. Since HoT 3 mayor issues i had with how the forums developed pushed me to making a reddit account. First of all the general conduct of the forum posters, its nothing Anet can do much about on the forums, except addressing their complaints in game. Secondly, the lack of dev communication. Actually, not the lack of dev communication on the forums, even though it should be improved, but the better communication of them on reddit. And last, the lack of moderation. As i said, i posted alot on the forums. And i reported alot. Reporting isnt always a "bad" thing, trying to get someone banned or their posts removed but also reporting threads to be merged or moved to the appropriate subforum. In the last couple of weeks, response time to reports has become very lengthy. Some stuff i reported, took more than 24 hours to be handled and thats not a good sign, in my opinion. Anyways, I didnt want to rant about the forums but ask about reddit. Did similar changes in quality happen here too?

Thanks for your replies.
