[EVENT] Mining and Refining of Minerals

EVENT

In the old world, Arkansas was on of the nation's leading producers of Bauxite, the primary source of aluminum. Along with this, iron was plentiful. These metals show greater potential in weapon and armor making as well as other applications. Because of this the council has put out an order for aluminum and iron mines to be constructed and operated in the West province. This is expected to increase metal reserve substantially.

Along with this, top researchers will be tasked with finding the best way to refine and work the aluminum and iron ore. Master blacksmiths will be given samples of aluminum and iron to mold and craft to perfect the art of metalworking with aluminum. The art of tempering will also be researched into for potential use with the metals.

These projects are expected to take six months and cost 150,000 over that time.
