Tips for applying TGSP?

Just got my IntelliGLASS TGSP in the mail today and am getting ready to put it on, but I was wondering if anyone had a good method or any tips for putting it on. I just want to make sure I get everything even and aligned since I only get one shot at it. If I lightly place it down, do I still have time to adjust it before I press it down? Or does it have to be perfect when I set it?
