12/2/2015 - Nightly Thread (Anything Goes)

Hey guys! First and foremost mallowciraptor is unable to post the daily thread tonight as he is currently away dealing with a personal issue, so i'll be posting tonight.

Here are some interesting shenanigans going on the league lately:

• Welp, looks Jonathon Bernier will be taking a step down into the AHL as he was sent down today to the Marlies. This leaves James Reimer to take the starting role for the leafs, however Garret Sparks will be playing in his second game in a row tonight against Winnipeg creating what seems to be a goalie problem for Toronto. Personally, i wouldn't get mixed up with the whole situation in Toronto but boy this can sure make a great case to pick up/trade for Reimer or at least certainly stream Sparks tonight.

• Kari Lehtonen has been activated off IR today and so we return to this interesting tandem of Niemi and Lehtonen in Dallas. Do you think either of these two will budge when it comes to obtaining the starting role? Either way though, i'd own just about everyone on Dallas right now, jeez they are killing it.

• A few players will be missing time announced over the past day which include: Mike Fisher(1(+)weeks), Brandon Sutter(4-6 weeks), Milan Michalek(Few weeks-month), Jason Demers(Day to day), Mika Zibanejad(few days-few weeks), and Radko Gudas(Suspension, 3 games). Adjust your lineups accordingly.

• And of course the most important thing that can be talked about tonight in Hockey is that John freakin Scott leads all other players in the All-Star vote. His quote on the matter "..I definitely don't deserve it to this point. You never know. There's still some time left. I COULD TURN IT ON" Scott @ 50in15? I think so.
