Please help/ desperately need advice

My son's cradle cap is gone, which is good, but now my baby keeps aggressively rubbing his head (usually when he's tired or just waking up) and it's gotten to the point where half of his skull is RAW, I'm talking like rugburn raw here, it oozes sticky liquid and if I don't keep socks on his hands he scratches it and makes it bleed and it's worse :/

I put aquafor on his head but it doesn't help. I can't get him to stop rubbing his head....

What am I supposed to do? I can't put neosporin on him or anything and his head looks awful.
