Anyone have experience with Horner's Syndrome?

My Maine Coon was diagnosed with Horner's Syndrome three weeks ago. His condition has improved, but he's still not completely better. I know nerves can take a long time to heal, but three weeks seems like a lot. Anyone else dealt with this? How long before symptoms went away? I do have a vet appointment scheduled for Saturday.
