Request/idea: A community wiki.

Why have a chastity wiki?

To my knowledge, there isn't a wiki for the chastity community. I think that our community is large, established, active, and discoverable enough that it would be great for us to be the ones to make it happen.

What benefits would be gained?

Currently, it's easy to find information about something within the subreddit by searching. But for whatever that "something" happens to be, the information is probably scattered across lots of different posts, and much of it is probably outdated.

So, it's not that the information is missing or hard to find. It's that it would be really useful to centralize a lot of it.

Wouldn't it be redundant with the subreddit's content?

Reddit posts are better for sharing discoveries, having discussions, and pretty much everything that we already use r/chastity for.

Wiki articles are fantastic for centralizing the collective wisdom of a community. It would be a great reference.

What are some examples of wiki articles that would be good to have?

• Beginner's Guide to Chastity
• FAQ
• List of chastity device manufacturers
• List of chastity literature websites

Some of those would be locked, and others would be community-maintained. A wiki would allow both.

Device-specific pages would also obviously be good, and I think it would be useful to have a basic template for such pages. Sections might include:

• a basic description
• a picture from the manufacturers' website
• a link to where it can be bought
• known issues
• list of official and third-party accessories/upgrades
• tips for wearers
