Will the lower case/bottom cover of a 15" mid 2012 retina MBP fit onto a 15" early 2011 MBP?

I was thinking that my early 2011 MBP, a model that's prone to heat-related GPU issues, and the bottom cover of a mid 2012 retina MBP, which has vent slots on each side, would be a brilliant match.

But before I buy one, would it even fit? The screw holes look like they line up, but I want to be sure before buying one. It'd look a lot better than just cutting/drilling holes into the existing cover, IMO.
