You concertgoers of r/music did you know that you can stream a whole show to friends and fans through apps like Periscope. As long as you keep the phone at or below your own eye level it won't distract anyone.

Discussion

I hear the argument of respecting the artist well that is rubbish. I respected the artist when I plunked down that cash for my ticket and honestly I have every right to actually take a nap front row if I want. I paid.

I find it funny that artists are bothered by this. First of all lets get one thing clear, its 2015 and the technology that is attached to this year is not going anywhere we have to adapt. You cant ban cell phones but you can find a medium between being rude and being respectful.

First of all STFU at concerts people talking (Chad) is the absolute worst. Plain and simple and way more annoying than a cell phone. Second, if the phone is in and around the head or chest how is it bad? You are being bombarded with light and sound is it that big a deal?

I just watched the whole Dead & Company tour through periscope. in no way can i get to any of these concerts due to a disability. So why not Scope for the fans?

So concertgoers I encourage you to scope the shows for the fans.
