htpc build with A68HM-K

Is anyone running this asus mobo A68HM-K and can confirm whether or not using the onboard dvi to an hdmi adapter will provide sound to the tv?

• ASUS A68HM-K
• Radeon R934G2130U1S Shielded Black 4GB DDR3-2133 Memory
• Patriot PB120GS25SSDR Blaze Series 120GB
• Bitfenix Prodigy M Matx
• Corsair CX Series CX430 430W ATX

Update: Doesn't appear to work using a dvi to hdmi out adapter
