IDViking New OH - $10 Promo - REVIEW
Price: $10 for a solid ID and a dupe during the promo. Fantastic deal. Normal price is $75 but they have seemingly endless promos.
Customer service: Great. I messed up the birthdate, submitted a ticket and was promptly e-mailed about it. ID came with the updated birthdate.
Turnaround: Ordered 11/16, received 12/03. For a ten dollar ID shipped from Canada during the holiday season that's none too shabby.
Photoshop: Did this for Secret Santa, had to use facebook. Somehow the photo ended up looking alright.
Template: Compared it to my buddy's Ted. It's pretty saturated throughout the template. Everything is in the right place from what I can tell. The barcode and text on the back is larger than the Ted.
Holos: Bright as can be. Like really, you don't have to tilt it or anything.
Feel/Material: As we all know, it is thin PVC. Feels and is the same thickness, roughly, of the Ted. A sturdy ID.
Scanning: This is the most major caveat - it does scan correctly, but the height says she is 42 feet tall. This was a great deal from IDViking, so it's up to them if they think this warrants a reprint.
Signature: Generated, fine.
Final Thoughts: Aside from the colors of the template and the giantess thing, this was a remarkable deal. IDViking is rightfully settling into the role of a high volume, moderate quality, and most of all reliable vendor.
