While procastinating, I managed to translate one of my spanish poems, hope you guys like it and give me lots of feedback :3

How to explain a wonderful beer without describing its bitterness?

How to explain Spring without mentioning Winter and its roughness?

How much oxygen is too much for a fire?

How much make-up before your face becomes a satire?

 

Poor Moth, who over the Lamp obsesses

He just wants to tell her how wonderful is her essence.

Yet he doesn't know the whereabouts of her focal point,

so he can can only hope that his and hers are joint.

The Lamp who sheds a white light,

silent and enigmatic, her lips are sealed tight.

And the Moth, who his loving buzz showed

to so many light bulbs that he's seen explode,

would now rather from singing abstain

than to become widowed again.

 

How many times must a man write

before he gets the doctor's handwriting right?

How to explain the sweetness of honey without saying “bee”?

How to explain that we were carved from the same tree?
