Is kripps stream being viewbotted?

Serious question, I highly doubt Kripp would ever view bot himself after making a career tailoring to a small group of hardcore gamers, but his view counts just do not make sense sometimes. Is either TSM or Blizzard artificially boosting steams for free advertising? Or do hearthstone viewers drop like flies when other big games are hosting tournies on twitch? After all the Massan and various other streamers are caught, do Krupp's analytic match up with view count?

Yes, literally Reckful used Kripp to show MasSan was viewbotting.

Kripp only has 10k true Kripperinos that watch him do whatever he's doing. When he's playing Hearthstone and hits 30k, 20k of those are generic Hearthstone fans who watch basically any Hearthstone stream, but will usually swarm the top streamer (if it's a top tier streamer, no one is going to swarm someone like Sjow.)

If Reynad is on earlier than Kripp and streams longer, Kripp will get like 15k viewers all night while Reynad approaches 30k. If Reynad logs off during Kripp's stream, he will shoot up to 30k.

There's just a huge mindless mob of Hearthstone scrubs that wander Twitch.

Considering he has about 75% of people watching him with a twitch account - no

That's good to know.

What does the chatter_count number mean? Right now Twitch says 15498 people are watching Savjz, but that links has a chatter_count number of 9983. That's the number of people in chat, versus just watching Savjz?

By the way, you can purchase viewbots that engage in meme chatting.

Those are just two services in which the bots view and chat. So, I don't think your chatter_count proof is any proof at all. Considering most of Kripp's chat just copypastes memes, it would be hard to notice bots that copypaste too.

Its a good way to gauge if its being viewbotted or not. When you get to around a 50% of accounts in stream is when things seem a little off. If there are chat bots, chances are you'd atleast be able to find a rare one to show a little bit of proof

If he viewbotted then he would always be around his same numbers regardless of the games he plays. He barely gets 5k viewers when he ventures outside of Hearthstone.

Ya but blizzard could be behind it. Kripps view count was unusually high during the poe streams by 1000 viewers or so. GGG was to blame for that one.

Oftentimes when I stream a game outside of the one I have a reputation for, my number plummets 50% or more. If people are used to someone streaming Hearthstone, they aren't going to want to watch Mavenfall, Magic Duels, etc.

Kripp also doesn't rope every turn like Trump does. That shit is way more annoying.

I think most of the popular streamers have done this at some point to help grow their channels, so Kripp would be no exception. Not as obviously as Massan but, bumping it up a few thousand which increases visibility on the global twitch channel list, and causes more real viewers to click your stream.

It's not illegal, so theres no reason people trying to make a living streaming wouldn't do this to help grow their channel. Using a alternate IP to do it means you have plausible deniability, if someone figures it out and it makes Reddit, you can just say it was a random person doing it to try and get you banned and you're absolved of guilt.

TLDR: Yes, he most likely viewbotted, we're talking about the same person who used to exploit every game he played (until he decided it was better to ride Blizzard's dick), so why wouldn't he exploit twitch too?

You are right about that, quite frankly I dont care if he has view botted to combat the cancer that is twitch, but it just seems like twitch should fucking do something about it if they want anyone to take them seriously.

Yes he has viewbotted

What is proof

Most people do it from other IP's to prevent it from being proven, not my fault you're a pleb and don't understand how the streaming game works.

its like steroids in sports, lots of people are doing it, they don't talk about it, and only get caught when its very blatant (i.e. Massan).

I guarantee you a lot of the top streamers have dabbled in viewbotting or other shady things to help grow their channel. It's not illegal and it helps people make more money, which means it's happening.

it does seem like a lot of people do it, but I would never and have never done anything to manipulate any viewer numbers

Maybe you're not doing it specifically. Maybe its your girlfriend or TSM?

m8 I know more about viewbotting than you could hope to. Show me some half decent proof.
