A Duel at Sundown - A tale of 2 Battleships

Gather 'round travelers! Today I present to you a tale of my adventures in New Eden! Several weeks ago, I met a fellow here on r/eve. This fellow goes by the name of u/Killar-12 . This fellow challenged me to a battleship duel.

Being the honorable fellow I am, I naturally accepted. Now, the past few weeks have been a bit chaotic for me, but on this evening, I finally met the challenger on the fields of battle!

We warped in, and both locked up the other. His typhoon was locked and loaded, ready to burn his way across the stars. I had prepared the only battleship i could fly: A Raven. Being not the most ideal ship (and having low skills, being a noob and all), i still had honor to uphold! I WOULD NOT RUN! I WOULD FIGHT!

Missiles flew back and forth, and beams of energy flashed between the ships as neuts were used. At first, all seemed fine, my shields were holding even to his, despite my cap falling rather quickly.

Then both ships entered armor. I was breaking quickly, and he was not, his ship approached mine as my cap failed, and he mercilessly let loose barrage after barrage of missiles.

A flash as my ship exploded, and I was in my pod, with the victorious Typhoon sitting over me. Being the gentleman he is, he allowed me to live, and I flew off, vowing to return someday (with a better ship+fit) for a rematch.
