What Console Gen/Era was the best for Star Wars games?

It feels like the 6th generation was the golden age for Star Wars games, but it might just be my selective memory:

6th Gen (PS2/Xbox/Gamecube) approx 2001-2006:

  • Rogue Squadron II & III

  • Battlefront I & II

  • Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast & Academy

  • Knights of the Old Republic

6th Gen had KOTOR and Jedi Outcast, it wins. Though 5th did have Pod Racer, which was quite fun, too.

The best version of that, besides PC, would be the 6th gen Dreamcast anyway though.

6th Gen had KOTOR & TSL, both real Battlefront games, and Republic Commando. Is this a real question? Also Empire at War came out in 2006.

Hardly an opinion if you call it outright perfect and the best Star Wars game and at no point on your message at all say it's an opinion, especially when by fact it's clearly not unless games being dumbed down, more casual, and shallow is a good thing. I mean, come on. People that like the new Battlefront still admit it's not good as the older Battlefronts.
